They feature adjustable voltage output from 85 V to 125 V. The top panel display screen enables operation as soon as the unit is turned on, without the need for connection to a PC. Alternatively, both controllers have USB connectivity that provides ‘Plug-and-Play’ PC-controlled operation with kinesis velocity our Kinesis software package (included). The KPS201 power supply outputs +15 VDC at up to 2.66 A and can power a single K-Cube or T-Cube with a 3.5 mm jack.

With the largest fee-share of all Kinesis yields, the KVT Yield entitles holders to a 20% proportionate share of all transaction fees, paid in gold and silver. Kinesis introduced a yield system that rewards the active and passive users of the system as well as covers the costs of providing the system and secure storage and insurance of precious metals. Hold KVTs in your Kinesis account or a linked external wallet to earn the yield. We would like to emphasise that KVTs held within unlinked external wallets will not be included in calculations towards the yield, as Kinesis won’t be able to identify unlisted addresses. You can earn multiple yields, as long as you follow their eligibility guidelines. Kinesis gives back more than half of all our transaction fees to our users every month as yields – paid in gold and silver.
MOUNTING OPTIONS
The large 115 mm x 115 mm platform is capable of moving loads up to 5.0 kg at speeds up to 2.4 mm/s. Note that the M30XY(/M) stage is monolithic and cannot be disassembled into two single-axis stages. The USB connector allows PC control using our Kinesis® software control suite. A power supply with a region-specific adapter plug is included with the stage. These stages incorporate piezoelectric elements in a variety of drive mechanisms. Thorlabs’ KDC101 K-Cube® Brushed DC Motor Controller provides local and computerized control of a single motor axis. It features a top-mounted control panel with a velocity wheel that supports four-speed bidirectional control with forward and reverse jogging as well as position presets. The digital display on the top panel includes a backlight that can be dimmed or turned off using the top panel menu options.
The current version of the XA software can only drive select Thorlabs motion controllers. As I write this in mid-March 2021, users have reported a net cost per KVT of between $750 and $850 via mint cycling. These are a special token that only participate in the yield system of Kinesis. 20% of the generated yields are set aside to pay KVT holders, and there is a hardcoded limit of 300,000 KVT. Owners of KVT succeed and profit only if Kinesis succeeds and profits, but if Kinesis becomes successful these tokens will become very valuable.
